GFK ist die Abkürzung für glasfaserverstärkter Kunststoff. Als Basis kommen sowohl duroplastische Kunststoffe als auch thermoplastische Kunststoffe in Frage. Meist wird dieser Kunststoff aus verschiedenen Harztypen und Glasfasern zu einem Laminat hergestellt.
